Online Store Terms & Shipping Information
Order Details –
When you place an order with The Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation’s (SOLEIF) Online Store, we require complete billing and shipping information so that we can process your order. In addition, we need your telephone number and email address so that we can contact you if there is a problem with your order.
Order Review –
When you are ready to place your order, and before you actually place it, we will give you an opportunity to review your order, including shipping and handling charges and sales tax, if applicable. Members will receive a 10% discount, with the exception of Wall of Honor inscriptions, the American Flag of Faces and donations. If you are not a member but choose to become one, you must first complete your membership transaction online before placing your order for items in a separate transaction to receive the discount.
Order Confirmation –
Once your order has been placed, we will automatically send an email order confirmation to the email address indicated. This email will include an order number that can be used to track the status of your order.
Payment Method –
The SOLEIF Online Store accepts American Express, Discover Card, VISA and MasterCard for all purchases. Your information, including credit card details, is protected by SSL encryption and tokens when it is exchanged between your web browser and the Site. Credit card processing is performed by a third party service provider of SOLEIF and SOLEIF does not retain your financial information. If you would rather not use your credit card or make a transaction via the Internet, please contact our customer service team at 212-561-4588.
Shipping Policy –
Shipping costs vary based on weight, size, dimensions and destination. Shipping costs are separately identified during check-out.
Depending on the total weight and the size of the order, we may offer three shipping methods: (i) 3-5 business days delivery from date of order, (ii) 5-7 business days delivery from date of order, (iii) overnight domestic only: Monday through Friday before 3:00pm (eastern standard time), excluding holidays. Carriers do not ship overnight to P.O. Boxes.
Note: Custom frame items add 14 business days to delivery schedule above, excluding holidays. Custom frames cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes. Wall of Honor Certificates of Registration will not be shipped until reviewed and cannot be sent overnight.
Returns and Exchanges –
Returns and Exchanges. SOLEIF’s Online Store will not accept returns for personalized orders (including, without limitation, heritage documents, Wall of Honor certificates and Flag of Faces submissions). SOLEIF will replace ship manifests that have been damaged during shipment or are defective, or personalized items where the item sent did not match the order. In all other cases, if you are not completely satisfied with your order and would like to return one or more items, you can return unwanted items within thirty (30) days of purchase to SOLEIF’s Online Store for exchange or credit. You will bear the expense of shipping on all returns, except when items are misdirected, damaged, or defective.
DUE TO THE VARIOUS INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS REGULATIONS WE DO NOT SHIP CUSTOM FRAMES INTERNATIONALLY AND WE CANNOT GUARANTEE DELIVERY TIMES.
