LAFAYETTE / MEXIQUE – 1915
She was built for Compagnie Generale Transatlantique, the French Line and made her maiden voyage to New York in 1915. In 1916 she was converted to a hospital ship until resuming commercial service between Havre in New York in 1919. She ran the St. Nazaire-West Indies route and renamed in 1928 to the MEXIQUE. She was mined and sunk in 1940.
